Flow Festival 2011 is over, and it was visited by over 46 500 people. If you weren't one of those, mtok will in brief tell you what happened:

flow festival 2011...

...had safety first! The Kanye West gig was postponed almost 30 minutes because of securing the stage in the heavy wind. Maybe the organisers had in mind that there had been a stage collapse the day before with 5 dead and 40 injured.

...best act. With out a doubt those that made the most of their time playing was Horse Meat Disco. The London based DJ's really knew how to make people dance!

...most interesting concert. Hauschka featuring Samuli Kosminen gave the audience a great experience in what a prepared piano, drum set and electronic equipment sounds like. Amazing!

...funniest costumes. Empire of the Sun really knew how to dress up silly!

...nicest surprise. The Anjunadeep artist from Turku, Michael Cassette, had a small stage early on Sunday afternoon and was a really nice surprise. Played 80's inspired progressive electronic, the only downside was that he hadn't rolled up the sleeves on his jacket when playing the tune "Crocket's Theme". Review of the gig, with pictures and video will appear here.

...black tent was a disaster! They had changed the layout (to fit another bar??) so that the sound now was directed out towards the Main Stage. Resulting in that many visitors got their concert experience destroyed by what felt like a battle between two stages trying to be "the loudest and the toughest"! Horrible planning!!!

...had norwegian prices! Well at least almost, but 9€ for a beer and 10€ for seven pieces of Sushi is still a lot!

...was a place to meet old friends. Which is alway nice!
