Flow Festival 2012 is over, and it was visited by over 60 000 people (a new record). If you weren't one of those, MToK will in brief tell you what happened:
flow festival 2012...
...had some difficulties. If you look at the picture above you'll understand that there were some technical difficulties, but the real problem was last minutes cancellations. The Bobby Womack and Frank Ocean cancellations made Flow do something rare as refund unused one day tickets for Friday.
...most old-school, was definitely Awesome Tapes from Africa. His dj-set was brought to the audience by some C-cassettes!
...artists throwing their support to Pussy Riot. Problem is that how you show it can vary a lot, and it came in the forms of the most dimwitted to the totally brilliant!
...biggest surprise was the whole live performance to Nicolas Jaar. Had been listening to his album a few times, but got overwhelmed by how much better he was live. Hats off for you my good Sir!
...most talkative artist was the Danish Goodiepal. I watch his fast talking performance for approx 25 minutes and I still don't have a clue what he did talk about!
...had been listening to me! Well not exactly, but I choose to see it like that since I complained last year that the Black Tent was a disaster and this year they had moved it!
..biggest spectacle was, by a mile, the gig to Björk. She had to deliver since Feist had a really good show just before her, and she did! The show had almost everything between amazing new instruments and fireworks! Memorable!
...most sleepy gig was in fact the opening concert. Ive never tried harder to like an artist as I've done with Bon Iver, but we are just not meant for each other - went home and to bed after 30 minutes...
