Ok, I probably exaggerated the headline quite a bit! Unfortunately its not the whole score (can be streamed from here) that is interesting, only the bits and pieces that is used in the restored Georges Méliès sci-fi film from 1902 are. That's a sad tale of a band that charmed most of the music business when "Moon Safari" was released in 1998. For me Air has been in a downward spiral (not in a good way as the NiN one) ever since, and was confirmed with their lifeless performance at Flow Festival 2011.
The real star of this post is the restored sci-fi movie. A hand-coloured version of "A Trip to the Moon" (as its called in English) was discovered in 1993, and a frame-by-frame restoration was launched in 1999. The restoration was done in 2010, and the movie had its second premier at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival - 109 years after the first!
enjoy! <3
