the other day a friend of mine told an interesting story from the vip high life. he had been invited to the opening of a fancy new bar (or something like that), where the invited guests had been gorging through the served free food and drinks. the behaviour he described reminded me about the official video to "pretend" by the brandt brauer frick ensemble - cheap, greedy and tasteless!
the germans daniel brandt, jan brauer and paul frick is something rare as electronic music producers that in fact can read and write notes (not only copy/paste on a laptop)! also check out the mini documentary about their 10 piece ensemble rehearsing to get a better understanding of their music.
